Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information WNL RCM collects through wnlrcm.com and in the course of providing revenue cycle services, how we use it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be readable rather than exhaustive. It is informational and is not legal advice. Questions go to info@wnlrcm.com.
Information we collect from website visitors
Our web server keeps standard log files recording your IP address, browser type, approximate location, referring page, and the time and length of your visit. When you submit a contact form, proposal request, guide download, or job application, we collect what you enter — typically name, email address, phone number, role, practice details, and any message or resume you include. Cookies are small files stored by your browser that remember your preferences and help us understand how the site is used.
How we use that information
We use the information you provide to respond to your questions and requests, prepare proposals, send guides you asked for, create user accounts where a service requires one, and process job applications. We may email you about our services or relevant updates, and every such email includes a way to unsubscribe. Log and cookie data is used to keep the site working properly and to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell, rent, or lease your email address to third parties.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site — which pages get read, how people arrive, where they leave. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes this data under Google's privacy terms; the data we see is aggregated site usage, not individual browsing histories from other sites. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not work correctly afterward, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on Google provides.
Protected health information
PHI is handled differently from website data, under HIPAA rather than this policy alone. When we provide billing, coding, credentialing, or A/R services, we act as a business associate of the provider and execute a Business Associate Agreement before any PHI is exchanged. PHI is used only to carry out the services the provider engaged us for — submitting claims, obtaining payment, and supporting healthcare operations — and only as that agreement and HIPAA permit. Patients with questions about their health information should contact their provider, who is the covered entity holding the record.
Who we share information with
We do not share your personal information for commercial or marketing purposes. Within our operations, information is shared on a need-to-know basis with our own personnel, vendors and service providers who support our systems, authorized third-party agents, and contractors — each bound by confidentiality obligations and, where PHI is involved, by a Business Associate Agreement. We also disclose information where required by law, court order, or a valid regulatory request, and to payers and clearinghouses as necessary to submit and pursue claims on a provider's behalf.
Security, retention, and your rights
We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect information in our custody, described in more detail on our Security page. Personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described here, unless a longer period is required by law or for a directly related business purpose. You may request access to, correction of, or permanent deletion of your personal data by emailing info@wnlrcm.com from your registered email address. We may update this policy as our practices or the law change, and the current version always appears on this page. Write to us at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, or call (805) 979-7829.
